WebbThe basic D Jetronic system employs a recirculating fuel system in which a constant supply of fuel is pumped from the tank and delivered through a fine filter to the injectors at constant gauge pressure (usually around 2 Bar / 30 p.s.i.). A spring loaded regulator valve (2 on the V12) spills off the excess fuel which returns to the fuel tank.
