Also, fstat does not make it clear to me, screen update to the next, moment to the next, what happened on the disk. I know on Windows I miss no event. I don't know that on FreeBSD. I know which event is important … Web8 sep. 2015 · Generally I find that slowdowns under heavy IO load are firstly because of poorly-architected software, or when that's not the case then because the system is using a single, slow disk (i.e. non-SSD), and everything is trying to access it concurrently.
