WebOct 3, 2024 · I don't have a sniper, but I do have a fitech efi unit, which for this question is essentially the same. You don't need a new tank or a new fuel line unless you want them. I used a holley in tank returnless electric pump ($350ish) in the original 16 gallon tank hooked to the original 5/16 steel fuel line with a short piece of vapor guard hose.

All parts for FiTech are made by Bosch or Delphi and can easily be had from local parts jobbers. Linkage on the FiTech's are identical to Holley, not so with MSD.

Would be a higher BSFC on a turbo/blower deal. 8 injectors would be double that power. The Sniper has 1-11/16" throttle plates and flows right at 800 CFM dry at 1.5" Hg.

Within the narrow confines of the muscle car engine swap arena, converting to a carburetor is less expensive than retaining the EFI.
